SUSTAINING GENERIC MEDICINES MARKETS IN EUROPE
The EU is not realising the full potential for savings from generic medicines.
This study shows that added savings of 27%-48% could be attained if the appropriate
measures were taken.
Coordinated government policies are critically needed
in many EU countries to foster a sustainable generic medicines industry that
plays an important role in the overall competi-tiveness of the EU pharmaceutical
industry.
